NV - Side Mount Level Switch

KOBOLD NV liquid level switches may be installed wherever you need a rugged, compact device to monitor liquid levels. 

The NV includes a cylindrical stainless steel float located at one end of a horizontal balance arm. 

This float moves up and down with the liquid level, and float movements are transmitted through the balance arm to a permanent magnet at the opposite end. 

The magnet actuates a reed contact located within a moveable housing. 

The reed contact switches on or off depending on the position of the permanent magnet and the switch housing.

The reed switch is factory set as a normally open (N/O) contact, so that the contact closes as the liquid level rises, but you can change the switching function to normally closed (N/C) by simply moving the reed switch housing. 

Additionally, you can adjust the NV's sensitivity as needed to minimize the effects of turbulence.
